Maintenance Manager

Join mas Cargo Airline as our Maintenance Manager and play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of airworthiness, safety, and operational excellence across our fleet. This leadership position is central to maintaining compliance with FAA, EASA, and AFAC regulations, driving best-in-class preventative and corrective maintenance strategies, and leading a dedicated team at one of Latin America’s leading air cargo carriers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team to execute all maintenance activities in full compliance with approved maintenance programs, regulatory requirements (EASA, FAA, AFAC), and internal company manuals.
• Oversee and supervise all aspects of maintenance—including financial analysis, technical operations, training coordination, and administrative duties—ensuring consistent alignment with quality and safety standards.
• Drive the development and continuous improvement of maintenance policies and procedures to enhance safety, efficiency, and product quality.
• Coordinate closely with Quality Control, Planning, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely and effective execution of routine and non-routine maintenance, both at base and remote locations.
• Conduct regular operational meetings with team supervisors and staff to foster a culture of clear communication, proactive problem-solving, and collaboration.
• Ensure all maintenance records, technical documentation, and regulatory requirements are up to date and fully compliant.
• Monitor aircraft status and support ongoing operational needs, including line maintenance and onboard mechanic assistance as required.
• Guarantee that only trained and certified personnel are authorized to release company aircraft, upholding the highest industry safety standards.
• Ensure all maintenance is delivered efficiently, within time and cost parameters, supporting on-time fleet availability and alignment with operational schedules.

Your Profile:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar leadership role in an airline or MRO environment.
• In-depth knowledge of EASA, FAA, and AFAC regulations, as well as technical and quality requirements for commercial cargo aircraft.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Strong analytical abilities for operational and financial decision-making.
• Fluent English and Spanish.
