The Dominican air travel market has experienced steady growth in the last few years and Arajet believes that, by adopting the ULCC model, it can accelerate that growth. As such, Arajet will be a catalyst for the rapid expansion of the air transportation market in the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean as a whole. We are looking for capable Captains to ensure safety flights, on our B 737 – MAX aircraft and monitors all aspects of flight to ensure safety and all aircraft systems for normal operations. Must ensure compliance with all local and foreign regulations, as well as the policies and procedures specified in the company operations.

Responsibility

• Reporting to the Chief Pilot.
• Ensure the safe and effective operation of the airplane and the safety of the crew and passengers.
• Be concerned with the airworthiness of the plane, weather components influencing the flight.
• Flight controls.
• Discuss activity control methods.
• Make use of air navigational aids planned to supply the greatest security in the air.

Requirement

• Type rate on B737 – NG/MAX (preferably).
• Current American Visa B1/B2 on date.
• Current Medical Certification.
• ICAO Lv. 4 as minimum requirement
• Current ATP License.
• Equal or more than 5,000 total hours.
• PIC hours equal or more than 1,500 hours on 45 tons aircraft.
